WHAT WE STAND FOR
Dr Sacha Rombouts founded Happy Minds Australia to provide exceptional psychological services and products to people seeking positive changes in their world.
Mission Statement:
At Happy Minds, we are passionate about helping people of all ages to learn the skills to successfully deal with life’s challenges and to be happy. We would like to change the way that people view their world. Our vision is that Happy Minds is a place that anyone can come to and feel respected and valued.
The Happy Minds psychology practice is comprised of highly skilled psychologists and provides a welcoming environment that is friendly, safe and inclusive. Our approach to our jobs is to have fun and be optimistic in the process of helping people to transform their lives.
At Happy Minds we are guided by the following values:
Kindness: First and foremost, our role is to help people. We believe that kindness and compassion are essential to helping people become self aware, overcome life’s challenges, and to grow and flourish.
Joy: Happy Minds is a dynamic and fun environment for growth. Our clinicians are friendly, approachable and, most importantly, joyous and positive people.
Honesty: In order to build trusting, positive relationships, honesty is vital. We are a strong and generous team at Happy Minds and seek to maintain honest and transparent practices in all aspects of our work.
Respect: We understand that there are often stigmas surrounding mental health issues. We believe in treating every person with respect, humanity and to approach our work with an attitude of non-judgmental curiosity.
Connectedness: We hope to nurture meaningful and fulfilling relationships amongst individuals, couples, families, schools and communities in all Happy Minds activities. At Happy Minds, psychologists and clients work together to excel in the face of challenges.
Flexibility: While the Happy Minds suite of programs offers foundation skills for individual, family and group settings, we tailor our approach to your individual needs. We focus on the whole person (not just the problems) and are able to think creatively and innovatively in our work.
